Nanosized
Nanosized is a company that specializes in providing AngstromPure® Water for semiconductor mass-fabrication. They have developed two disruptive technologies, Winsty™ and NDLS®, to address the need for higher purity levels in nanotechnology R&D and fabrication. Their analytical tool, NDLS®, based on Dynamic Light Scattering, is used to classify water purity levels in the Angstrom-scale metrics. Nanosized's main classes include APW, freshly generated water from an ideal membrane distillation module; NPW, APW stored in coated vessels; and UPW, according to current classification systems. They offer Virgin Water™, a water of outermost purity that is used for rinsing semiconductor wafers. Nanosized's technology aims to increase the available virgin wafer area used for chip manufacturing. They provide an alternative to the unsustainable and expensive use of conventional Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) for rinsing purposes in microchip manufacturing.
