Composite Sound
Composite Sound is a company that specializes in engineering speaker cones and diaphragms. They use advanced simulation tools and a unique engineering approach to create speaker diaphragms that prevent undesired resonances. They optimize the thickness, stiffness, and damping of the diaphragms to control modal behavior. Composite Sound is a spin-off from Oxeon and is an independent company within the Oxeon group. They use TeXtreme® technology, originally used in demanding applications such as Formula 1 cars and NASA's Mars drone, to engineer speaker cones and diaphragms at a high level. To optimize performance, properties, and behavior, they extensively use simulations such as ANSYS and COMSOL Multiphysics®. They have a three-step method to evaluate their technology and offer services in the acoustic industry.
