Enaiblers

Enaiblers is a company focused on the development of innovative optical devices for the diagnosis of soil-transmitted helminth (STH) and schistosome infections. They aim to overcome the limitations of conventional microscopy by leveraging advancements in miniaturization of optical systems, sensors, and processors. Their goal is to create digital and automated microscopes that are suitable for detecting these diseases in resource-limited settings. Through a review of recent publications, Enaiblers has identified and ranked 19 innovative optical devices. However, most of these devices are still in the developmental stage and not ready for commercialization and field use. This review serves as a guide for the end-to-end development of automated digital microscopes aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) target product profile (TPP) for the diagnosis of STH and schistosome infections in resource-limited settings.
