ISOREA is a company specializing in the development of a novel monoclonal antibody-based Alzheimer's Disease (AD) early risk detection kit called AD Detect. The kit consists of two complementary enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) that provide reliable diagnostics (>95%) for early stages of dementia. ISOREA's clinical studies for the AD Detect kit are conducted in Amsterdam and Shanghai, and in a comparative clinical study in Shanghai, the kit demonstrated superior performance compared to other blood biomarkers. By understanding the mechanism of AD initiation based on damage of blood proteins, ISOREA has also developed a dementia prevention food supplement called AD Protect. The company's research is based on years of work at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. With the AD Detect kit, individuals can identify their risk of developing AD or other dementias at a very early stage, making it useful for screening blood donors before transfusion.
